About Leah

I believe that health and fitness are achievable for everyone but sometimes you need a little help. This does not require massive lifestyle changes, dieting or 6am gym sessions. We lead busy lives for which dramatic “health solutions” are not always achievable or sustainable. I promote a routine of a bit of exercise every day and cooking from scratch as often as you are able. My services intend to help you achieve this as easily and efficiently as possible.

I work with a variety of clients who struggle to focus properly on their nutrition and activity levels due to the pressures of demanding lives. I help them eat a healthier, more nutritional diet and enjoy daily exercise through personal training sessions, Fitness At The Farm exercise classes, nutritional guidance and bespoke meal plans that meet their specific requirements.

My Story

After an 8-year career in marketing, I decided to follow my passion to work in health and fitness. I completed an MSc in Nutrition, Physical Activity & Public Health at the University of Bristol and qualified as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor.

I am lucky enough to live on a beautiful farm in South Oxfordshire with my husband Andy and our “little ones”, Geoffrey (dog) and Rupert (cat). Collins Farm, Frilford is where I conduct personal training sessions and where group classes take place.

CONFESSION: I haven’t always been that active and I only really got into exercise in my early 20s. It took years to grow my fitness and I’m still developing it today by trying new things to evolve my strength and skills. I’m an amateur triathlete so most of my exercise comes from running, swimming and cycling, but I also love yoga, boxing and circuit training. I am goal oriented and like to take part in one or two triathlons per year to keep my training focused, ranging from sprint to 70.3 miles distance.

Looking back at my heavily unfit, 20-year-old mess of a self who couldn’t run a mile convinces me that if I can achieve half ironman fitness, then anyone can get fit and healthy. It’s my job to get you there.
